The day before
Gently exfoliate at least 24 hours before your appointment to remove old tan and dry skin. Give elbows, knees, ankles and feet a little attention. Keep it gentle.
Finish any shaving or waxing at least 24 hours beforehand, or earlier if your skin needs time to settle. Skip hair removal on the day. If your skin is sunburnt, peeling or irritated, contact us before your appointment.
Clean, cool, dry skin
Shower and rinse away product residue, then let your skin cool and dry completely. Leave the areas being tanned free from moisturiser, oils, deodorant, perfume and makeup, unless we’ve given you different instructions.
Fit exercise in beforehand. Keep some quiet time free afterwards so you can stay dry until your rinse. If you have an event coming up, tell us the date and we’ll talk through timing.
Your after-tan outfit
- Loose, dark clothing. Something easy to slip on afterwards.
- Open footwear. Skip tight socks, shoes or straps that could rub.
- Underwear or swimwear. Choose what feels comfortable for your tan and the tan lines you’d like. It may get bronzer on it.
- A hair tie. Keep longer hair off your skin.
Set everything out before we arrive. Save fitted jeans and leggings for later.
A little space at home
Have a private, clear space ready. We’ll confirm any setup needs with you. Let us know about parking or building access, too.
For a shared visit, send everyone this checklist so they can get ready in their own time.
A product question or previous reaction? Get in touch before your appointment. Please keep medical details out of the booking form. Speak with a qualified healthcare professional about personal medical concerns.
Before we say goodbye
We’ll explain when to rinse and how to care for your tan. Keep those instructions handy, as timing varies between solutions. Read after your tan for the next steps.
